Supply chain Operations - Business Operations Associate 3

As a Supply chain Operations - Business Operations Associate 3 in Chennai/ Bangalore, you have a win-win opportunity: Use your skills to implement integrated solutions, then grow your own career through a variety of paths inside one of the world’s leading technology companies.

The Primary role will be to own logistics, procurement and order management related operational processes from SAP S4 standpoint, ensure smooth transactions flow between various system, address any fallouts between different SAP and partner systems, perform analysis, offer insights on failures and take corrective action to fix them. The secondary role will be to perform similar activities in non-SAP environment. In addition, own pricing analysis and management, Inventory analysis and other operational activities including reporting and analytics pertaining to Services Supply Chain and manage day to day tactical / operational activities. 

Selected candidate must act as a trusted team member providing innovative solutions to various operational issues from SAP and non-SAP environment standpoint. This would include Logistics, Procurement and order management supply chain business processes. Selected candidate should also drive / support key Supply Chain Improvement projects for Services Supply Chain by challenging the status-quo and working across diverse and varied supply chains models / teams / regions with limited direction / inputs.  He / she must exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate solution / action. The selected candidate must also follow established guidelines, interprets policies, evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations. 

What can you expect?

As a Supply chain Operations - Business Operations Associate 3

  • Lead broad range of Logistics, Procurement and Order management related processes in SAP S4 and non-SAP environment
  • Coordinate with outsourced partners and various internal teams to ensure smooth execution of operations.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert with excellent SAP skills primarily in Idocs and well versed with supply chain business processes
  • Reengineer business processes and automate them using best-of-breed technologies including SAP S4 scripting, Power Automate, PowerQuery, UI Path and various other tools
  • Produce reports using various IT systems / tools (PowerBI) and analyze data to develop trends for various activities; articulate findings to management, position their impacts, perform what-if simulations.
  • Manage and execute price file process, perform various analysis and offer business insights.
  • Report and help review performance metrics on a regular basis, identify opportunities for improvements and automation.
  • Research and analyze priority projects within established guidelines to enable digital advancement.
  • Communicate requirements and guidelines to the regional and global teams and IT.
  • Provide training or general direction for junior staff members and mentor them.

You would be the right if you have:

  • First level university degree (Engineering preferred)
  • Must have minimum 1-3 years of experience in supply chain function
  • Experience in more than one supply chain function with primary focus on Logistics (Procurement, Order Management, Sales).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in various SAP S4relating to Forward Logistics Reverse Logistics, procurement and Sales order management. This is a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience with integration points of SAP Logistics modules across SAP modules.
  • Solid understanding of SAP and possess the ability to monitor day-to-day operations and support where required in Logistics, Procurement and Order management processes.
  • Must possess knowledge of various business flows in SAP pertaining to logistics, procurement and order management and must act as an SME
  • Thorough knowledge of EDIs including creation, simulation and trouble shooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of various B2B platforms used for partner communication with hp systems
  • Ability to interact effectively through exceptional communication and possess presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Very strong influencing skills combined with proven relationship management skills who can work in a matrix environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (expert level in Excel, advance level PowerPoint)
  • Vocal in challenging “business as usual operating models” and recommending innovative processes / solutions for services supply chain domain
  • Strong Project Management skills to lead cross-functional teams; recognized as Subject Matter Expert.
  • Services Supply Chain knowledge is a plus
