Requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Control and proficiency with MS Office. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of material and welding specifications, destructive and nondestructive examinations, and coating inspections.

Must have:

Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality Control
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Experience with AWS D1.1
Experience with ASME codes
Experience with dimensional inspection
Experience conducting welding procedure qualifications
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to work independently
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to read blueprints

Good to have:

Experience with ASME Section VIII, B31.3, B31.1, STS-1 and V
Experience with SSPC, NACE & ISO coating specifications
Experience with API 936 refractory inspection
ASNT Level II in Magnetic Particle Testing
ASNT Level II in Dye Penetrant Testing
ASNT Level II in Radiographic film interpretation
ASNT Level II in Ultrasonic Testing
ASNT Level II in PMI Testing
Knowledge of material specifications (ASTM & ASME)
Knowledge of welding specifications (AWS & ASME)
Knowledge of destructive and nondestructive examinations
Knowledge of coating inspections
Experience in a fabrication environment

Job Title: Surveillance Inspector

Reports To: Director of Quality Control

Functional Job Duties:

Inspecting Zeeco equipment at fabricators within Tulsa metro area and up to 30% travel out of state.
Current American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Experience working with one or more of the following Standards. American Welding Society (AWS) codes D1.1, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Corp of Engineers codes Section VIII, B31.3, B31.1, STS-1 and V.
Experience with dimensional inspection.
Experience conducting and witnessing welding procedure qualification and welder qualifications.
Experience conducting coating inspection to SSPC, NACE & ISO specifications.
Experience conducting refractory inspection to API 936 specification.
Past experience as American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II in one or more of the following disciplines:

Qualifications:

7 year minimal experience in Quality Control.
Offer contingent upon successful completion of background and drug screening
Active participant in continuous improvement efforts that further the company values, consistency and efficiency of people and process within the Division.
Knowledge of material specifications (ASTM & ASME), is preferred
Knowledge of welding specifications (AWS & ASME), is preferred
Knowledge of destructive and nondestructive examinations is preferred.
Knowledge of coating inspections, is preferred.
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience in a fabrication environment, preferably job-shop or general contract companies

Physical Requirements:

Physical demands of position will require the ability to maneuver in a shop or yard assembly environment. Extensive walking and standing, climbing on ladders, scaffolding, crouching, twisting, and stooping are often encountered. Must be able to assist with the manipulation of tooling and equipment.
