As a System Hardware & Software Quality Engineer, you will be a key player in validating prototype hardware and WatchOS software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute system test scripts. You will lead the timely execution of rack test plans, working closely with teams to define and prioritize test execution tasks. You will spearhead debugging efforts alongside software and hardware teams, and develop custom scripts for efficient failure analysis.

Job Details

As a System Hardware & Software Quality Engineer, you will be a key player in validating prototype hardware and WatchOS software. Your contributions will directly impact the product's overall quality, ensuring both the software and hardware meet the highest standards. In this role, you will collaborate within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, developing and employing test infrastructure to drive product excellence. This position will require ~10% international travel.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Collaboration & Test Design: Partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute system test scripts that rigorously challenge and validate prototype hardware and software, ensuring robust product performance.\n\n- Test Execution & Prioritization: Lead the timely execution of rack test plans, working closely with System EE, Program Management, and Module teams to define and prioritize test execution tasks.\n\n- Debugging & Issue Resolution: Spearhead debugging efforts alongside software and hardware teams, swiftly identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues discovered during rack testing.\n\n- Custom Scripting & Failure Analysis: Develop custom scripts for efficient failure analysis, improving overall test coverage and factory reliability.\n\n- Automation & Maintenance: Enhance and maintain stress rack automation to streamline testing processes and improve system reliability.\n\n
