System Power and Performance Architect, Silicon

This role involves architecting and driving low-power solutions for Google Tensor mobile SoCs, optimizing Power-Performance-Area (PPA) under battery life and thermal constraints. Responsibilities include creating use case workload and datapath models for power, performance, thermal, and days-of-use evaluation. You will define power/performance KPIs, set SoC/IP-level goals, guide cross-functional teams, perform use case level power roll-ups, and track KPIs throughout the design cycle. Further responsibilities include driving power-performance trade-off analysis, post-silicon power and performance characterization, and guiding teams to achieve power/thermal goals in production. The ideal candidate will have experience in SoC architectures, performance and power KPIs, software power optimizations (Android, Linux), and proficiency in Python or C++. Experience with Camera and Generative AI workloads is a plus.
