Job Description

The Systems Administrator 2 will be responsible for supporting IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. They will also provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. This role involves optimizing system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning, and troubleshooting IT systems. The administrator will configure and manage operating systems, install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain the integrity of and configure network components, and implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. They will also leverage Ansible modules to monitor system health and manage switch configuration.

Must have:

TS/SCI with full scope polygraph required.

Responsibilities Include:

Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning, as well as trouble shooting IT Systems
Configure and manage operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Leverage Ansible modules to monitor system health, identify issues, and implement automated remediation strategies.

Manage switch configuration and apply compliance requirements to servers and network device

Basic Qualifications:

TS/SCI with full scope polygraph
Ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Proficient in Linux and Ansible skills.
Experience with switch configuration skills and experience applying compliance requirements to servers
