Job Description

As a Systems Engineer at Veeam, you will work closely with the sales team, partners, resellers, and end-users to promote Veeam's products. Your responsibilities will include positioning Veeam products to exceed sales goals, managing the technical evaluation stage, providing software demonstrations, collaborating with value-added resellers, and providing customer feedback. You will also be expected to stay informed about new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires significant travel within the region of responsibility.

Must have:

Experience in pre-sales for an IT Software vendor.
Deep experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure.
Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Systems Centre.
Strong technical knowledge of data management.
Comfortable discussing Cloud technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English, French, and Dutch.
Comfortable presenting to groups.
Ability to spend 25% - 50% of time with customers.

At Veeam, Systems Engineers work closely with sales and help to evangelize our product offerings to our partners, resellers and end users. Your tasks will include:

Positioning Veeam products to both partners and end‐users to help to overachieve sales goals
Managing the technical evaluation stage of the sales process as a main technical advisor for Veeam solution
Providing web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam software
Working closely with Veeam’s value-added resellers, including enablement, joint meetings and building relationships
Working closely with development to provide customer feedback

What we expect from you:

Strong experience working in a pre-sales role to enterprise level for an IT Software vendor
Have deep experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure
Have experience on Microsoft Hyper-V and Systems Centre
Have wide range of technical knowledge of data management inclusive tape drives, storage arrays, storage networking, networking protocols
Be comfortable to engage discussion about Cloud technologies
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be fluent in English, French and Dutch
Be comfortable presenting to groups, both remotely and in person
Be available to spend 25% - 50% of the time with customers and partners
Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
Be comfortable in using social media to help promote and grow the Veeam community
