We are currently looking for a Talent & Culture Specialist to join our team. This position has a preference to be based out of Atlanta, but fully remote employees who meet the qualifications may be considered.
Essential Functions:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Leads full-cycle U.S. recruitment efforts in collaboration with hiring managers, ensuring an efficient and inclusive hiring process
Manages on-boarding and off-boarding workflows, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and timely
Conducts orientation sessions and supports the integration of new employees into company systems and culture
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
Maintains and updates employee records in the personnel files, HRIS and ancillary systems; ensures personnel actions (PAFs), job changes, and other updates are processed promptly
Support resolution of employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and systems
Oversees verification of employment (VOE) requests and ensures employee files are complete, organized, and compliant
Prepares and distributes monthly headcount and workforce data reports to support leadership decision-making
Compliance & Program Oversight
- Tracks and monitors company-wide compliance initiatives, including performance review and training completion
- Manages HR audit documentation and coordinates ongoing renewables such as professional certifications and documentation deadlines
- Ensures processes and records align with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Develops and publishes internal communications such as the monthly employee newsletter and employee spotlights
Supports employee engagement initiatives and recognition efforts to strengthen company culture
Collaborates cross-functionally to gather feedback and contribute to a positive, inclusive employee experience
Operational Process Management
- Manages HR process documentation and workflows, including routing travel forms and processing employee changes
- Identifies and recommends improvements to HR operations, systems, and tools
Education & Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations, ideally in a fast-paced or growth-stage environment
- 2 years of full cycle recruitment experience in a software or technical organization preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws, HR best practices, and employee data management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in HRIS platforms, with preferred experience in ADP or similar systems
- Proficient in navigating Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with preferred experience in Jobvite or similar systems
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- SHRM-CP or HRCI certification preferred.
Compensation:
For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this type of position is $58,000-$88,000 USD. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity, and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
