Job Description

This is a one-year temporary talent development program in semiconductor silicon design, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The program offers hands-on experience through projects in five key areas: Silicon Design, Computing Platforms Development, Software Development, Integration and Validation of Computing Systems, and Customer Enabling. Participants will receive training in semiconductor development and enhance teamwork skills. Minimum qualifications include 3+ months of experience in digital design (combinational, synchronous, or asynchronous), hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog), and programming languages (C, C++, Python, Perl, or Java), plus command-line experience and intermediate English. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of computer architectures and interfaces (USB, UART, SPI, I2C, PCIe, etc.) and Linux.

Good To Have:

Computer architecture knowledge (USB, UART, SPI, I2C, PCIe)
Linux OS knowledge

Must Have:

3+ months Digital Design exp.(Combinational, Synchronous, Asynchronous)
3+ months exp. in HDL (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog)

Intermediate+ English

Job Description

With the support of the Jalisco State Government, we offer a program for your development that includes learning through assignments in projects, specific courses on Semiconductor Development and different abilities to work in high-performance teams.

There are five practical learning areas: Silicon Design, Computing Platforms Development, Software Development, Integration and Validation of Computing Systems, and Customer Enabling.

Please consider this is a temporary position (1 year).

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications,

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

3+ months of experience in Digital Design such as: Combinational, Synchronous (state machines) or Asynchronous.
3+ months of experience in Hardware Description Languages such as Verilog or VHDL or System Verilog.
3+ months of experience in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Perl, or Java.
1+ month of experience with executing commands at a command prompt.
Intermediate+ English Level (verbal and written).

Preferred qualifications,

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Computer architectures and interfaces such as USB, UART, SPI, I2C, PCIe, etc.
Desirable knowledge and experience on Linux OS.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
