The Talent Manager at VX Media will be responsible for identifying and signing new talents, managing existing talent relationships, and strategizing their growth and exposure. This role requires a keen eye for upcoming trends in social media, fashion, and digital marketing, as well as strong negotiation skills. Responsibilities include identifying and scouting talents, onboarding new talents, developing media kits, maintaining talent rosters, developing strong talent relationships, negotiating brand collaborations, managing paid collaboration sheets and invoices, coordinating events and gifting, identifying scam emails, collaborating on content strategies, providing career guidance, and staying updated on industry trends. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Talent Manager or similar role in the media, fashion, or beauty industry.

Job Description: The Talent Manager will be responsible for identifying and signing new talents, managing existing talent relationships, and strategizing their growth and exposure. This role requires a keen eye for upcoming trends in social media, fashion, and digital marketing, as well as the ability to negotiate and secure opportunities that benefit both our talents and VX Media.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and scout talents in the fashion and beauty sectors, leveraging trends and market analysis.
  • Onboard new talents and develop media kits.
  • Maintain talent roster to make sure everything is up-to-date.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with talents, ensuring their needs are met and their careers are developed strategically.
  • Reach out to brands regularly, negotiate collaboration deals with brands, confirm collaboration terms (budget, deliverables, usage, brief, timeline), confirm talents’ interests on the collaborations.
  • Manage paid collaboration sheets, make sure everything is up-to-date.
  • Invoice the clients in time when the project is good to wrap up.
  • Make sure talents know the payment process and submit the invoices correctly.
  • Coordinate gifting and figure out if there’s any posting string, loop in other talents.
  • Coordinate events / shows, make sure talents know every detail (date, time, address, dress code, POC, etc.) before going.
  • Identify scam emails, ensure company’s and talents’ interests are not harmed.
  • Collaborate with the talent management team to create compelling content strategies that enhance talent visibility and engagement.
  • Provide career guidance to talents and make connections for them, helping them to maximize their potential and align their personal brands with market opportunities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to ensure our talent pool is ahead of the curve.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Manager, Agent, or similar role in the media, fashion, or beauty industry.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion and beauty industry, including key players and evolving trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
