Tax Accountant

Kforce's client, a leading public accounting and business consulting firm in Providence, RI, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant. This role involves preparing large S and C corporation returns, including multi-state taxes, as well as partnership, individual, and trust returns. The ideal candidate will have a BSBA in Accounting or MST, 3+ years of tax experience, and proficiency with CCH ProSystem FX, Engagement, and QuickBooks. Responsibilities also include reviewing staff-completed returns, training, and client communication, requiring strong technical, research, and project management skills to meet deadlines.

Must Have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
