Job description

ARE YOU OUR NEW TEAM LEAD FOR ELECTRONICS?

Do you love leading people just as much as working with cutting-edge electronics? Do you thrive in a role where you can both develop new, innovative products and ensure the reliability of existing ones?

At Trackman, we are growing fast and constantly pushing the boundaries of sports tracking technology. To support this, we are looking for a Team Lead for Electronics—someone who is passionate about people, collaboration, and driving technical excellence while staying hands-on with electronics development.

LEADERSHIP, TEAMWORK & INNOVATION

As Team Lead for Electronics, your most important task is to lead and develop a team of 7 skilled engineers, from newly graduated to seniors within RF and digital electronics. Your role will be to ensure they have the right support, tools, and direction to succeed. You’ll be responsible for creating a motivating and structured work environment, setting clear goals, and helping the team grow—both professionally and personally.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Giving guidance to the team, prioritizing tasks, follow-ups, feedback, and development support for the team.

  • Driving the development of next-generation high-frequency radar systems (10GHz and 24GHz), high-speed digital electronics, camera technology, and IR light systems.

  • Working in close cooperation with the Mechanical Engineering team, Optics & Certification team, Firmware team, and PTA to ensure smooth integration across disciplines and a strong foundation for product manufacturability.

  • Building on best practices for structured documentation, revision control, and design processes.

  • Supporting the team with the right tools and lab equipment—such as CAD solutions and instruments — ensuring the team has the right tools for development and testing.

  • Facilitating a culture of knowledge-sharing, both within the team and through external partnerships.

Job requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field (e.g., B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics development in hardware R&D, working with schematic design, PCB layout reviews, and debugging/testing electronics.

  • Strong understanding of electronics design processes, including schematic capture, layout, and design for manufacturing (DFM).

  • Experience with product lifecycle management, from concept to production and sustaining legacy products.
