Job Description
As a Tech Lead at Sword Health, you will lead a team, establish a technical vision, and ensure the success of delivered solutions. You will oversee day-to-day operations, delegate tasks, and set deadlines. You will stay updated with web technologies, software architecture principles, and design patterns, investing in continual improvements. You will work closely with the infrastructure team and other tech leads to improve software and infrastructure architecture. Additionally, you will maintain a productive and inspiring working environment for development teams and actively participate in the training and skill-building of team members. The mission is to build a pain-free world, powered by AI, and enhanced by people - accessible to all. You will be working with over 900 talented colleagues across three continents.
Must have:
- Experience as a Tech Lead/Team Lead or leadership skills
- Extensive experience (+5y) with web development
- Knowledge of main tech stack (Go and NodeJs)
- Strong background in event/microservice architecture
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Proactive, flexible, problem-solver, and decision maker
- Quality-oriented process ensuring good code practices
- People-oriented mindset, able to build strong relationships

What you'll be doing :
- Lead a team, establishing a technical vision, resolving technical disagreements and ensure the success of delivered solutions;
- Oversee day-to-day operations, delegating tasks and set deadlines/goals;
- Stay up to speed with all web technologies, software architecture principles and design patterns, investing in continual improvements;
- Use appropriate engineering practices, such fully automated development pipelines and testing;
- Understanding the current lifestyle and development of new lifecycles with emphasis on software quality processes;
- Work closely with our infrastructure team and other tech leads to define and improve our software and infrastructure architecture;
- Maintaining a productive and inspiring working environment for development teams, actively participating in the training/building skills, provide coach, monitoring performance, motivating the team, recognize high performance and reward accomplishments;
- Together with the HR team and assisting Hiring Manager, help on R&D process, motivation and retention of new members.
What you need to have:
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead/ Team Lead or natural Leadership skills;
- Extensive experience (+5y) with web development;
- Already knows our main tech stack (Go and NodeJs);
- Strong background in event/microservice architecture;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Portuguese and English);
- Great time management and organizational skills;
- Proactive attitude, flexible, problem solver and decision maker;
- Quality oriented process ensuring good code practices;
- People oriented mindset, able to build strong relationships and motivate the team.

Variable: €2,888 - €4,538
Net equity value per year: €9,860 - 15,495

Our job titles may span more than one career level. Actual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, location, market demand, and other factors. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary and any potential variable, bonus or sales incentives, and the Company’s estimation of the value of private company stock options, if applicable. The pay range is subject to change, future value of company stock options is not guaranteed, and compensation may be modified in the future.
