Job Description

As a DevOps Lead, you will be part of a team handling on-prem and cloud initiatives, providing support, development, planning, executing, and reporting on infrastructure and code projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of DevOps processes and systems. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the next-generation DevOps infrastructure, ensuring reliability and high availability of the operational environment, enabling the Research & Development group with CI/CD tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. You will troubleshoot issues, implement best practices, and contribute to innovative solutions, working within a supportive global company.
Must have:
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Strong experience with Networking and Linux administration
  • Proven scripting skills in Bash and Python
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Strong experience in configuration management tools like Ansible
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with system monitoring and centralized logging platforms
  • Knowledge of artifact and container registry tools
  • Enterprise Gradle experience

Role Overview: 

We are looking for a motivated DevOps Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a group responsible for handling on-prem and cloud initiatives, providing support, development, planning, executing, and reporting on various infrastructure and code projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our DevOps processes and systems.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain the next generation DevOps infrastructure.
  • Ensure the reliability, support, and high availability of the operational environment.
  • Enable the Research & Development group to use CI/CD tools, infrastructure, and automations
  • Handle on-prem and cloud initiatives, including support, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DevOps processes and systems.
  • Implement best practices for DevOps and infrastructure management.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Strong experience with Networking, Linux administration.
  • Proven scripting skills in Bash and Python.
  • Proficiency with virtualized and containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker).
  • Strong in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and respective tool chain
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • You are a go-getter & perform under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Support role
  • Bachelors/Masters-Degree of Engineering in CS or IT or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of experience and proficiency in DevOps domain, supporting large scale CI/CD.
  • Proven experience in DevOps, with a focus on support and infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, infrastructure, and automation.
  • Experience with on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Additional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with system monitoring and centralized logging platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Loki).
  • Knowledge of artifact and container registry tools (e.g., Artifactory)
  • Enterprise Gradle experience
