Job Description

Playrix seeks a skilled Tech Lead with 5+ years of Python backend development experience, expertise in architecture design, and experience managing a development team (5+ people). You'll lead the development and improvement of key services for company-wide business process automation, defining technical strategy and ensuring high-quality code.

Our games have been installed 2.3 billion times (that's a third of the world's population!) and more than 30 million people around the world play them every day.

Team, about the role

We have several games in our portfolio that are developed by 3500+ employees in different countries. For the competent operation of our company, we develop our internal ecosystem. These are various services including employee portal, reservation system for 10+ offices, internal streaming service and others.

We are looking for a Tech Lead to join our company-wide business process automation team. You will be tasked with tasks ranging from improving current engineering processes to designing service architecture and implementing new functionality.

For which you will need expertise in modern web development, skills Team composition: 4 Backend, 2 Frontend and 2 QA engineers,UI/UX designer and of course Business Analyst and System Analyst.

Tasks

Development and improvement of key services for automating the company's business processes: from architecture design, infrastructure deployment and CI/CD processes to production;
Managing the team and developing technical competencies of engineers: giving feedback, participating in the formation of development plans;
Produce technical and product initiatives;
Define the team's technical strategy (technologies, programming languages, development tools, key architectural decisions)
Technical quality management: code-review, system design review, unit-test.

Python 3, FastAPI, SQS, Kinesis, S3, Lambda, OpenAPI, Swagger, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Nomad + implementing Kubernetes

Requirements

More than 2 years of experience managing a development team (5 people or more);
5 years of experience in Python backend development using asynchronous frameworks;
Experience in architecture design and building services from scratch: service creation, database design and description preparation using standard system design artifacts;
Experience in developing architecture and creating services from scratch: creating a service, designing a database schema, and preparing a description using standard system design artifacts;
Ensuring high quality code development by covering unit and integration tests;
Experience leading technical and product initiatives;
Experience developing and optimizing legacy systems;
