Role Summary
Technical Architect with a strong background in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and expertise in AWS & Azure cloud platforms. He will be responsible for developing our next-generation products with robust & scalable system-designs and architectures. Will play a critical role in shaping the data strategy, architecture, and technology roadmap to support the organization's data-driven product lines. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical point person for these solutions, working closely with customers, product managers, data scientists, and development teams, applying innovative methods.

Role Summary
Technical Architect with a strong background in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and expertise in AWS & Azure cloud platforms. He will be responsible for developing our next-generation products with robust & scalable system-designs and architectures. Will play a critical role in shaping the data strategy, architecture, and technology roadmap to support the organization's data-driven product lines. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical point person for these solutions, working closely with customers, product managers, data scientists, and development teams, applying innovative methods.
Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance data warehousing and BI solutions on AWS/Azure, encompassing data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes.
- Define and implement BI reporting standards and visualization best practices to deliver intuitive and impactful dashboards and reports to end-users.
- Create end-to-end BI architectures that encompass data modeling, data warehousing, data marts, and reporting layers, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in architecting solutions on AWS/Azure, utilizing services such as Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline, S3, Lambda, ADF, ADLS, AAS and others to build efficient and cost-effective data architectures.
- Optimize data processing and query performance for large-scale data sets, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and ensuring high availability of the data warehousing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand business requirements and drive the data strategy, ensuring that the data architecture aligns with the overall business goals.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to data engineering and BI teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Evaluate and select appropriate tech stack and make recommendations for integration methods & business impact. Hands-on PoC.
- Innovation and Best Practices: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data warehousing, BI, and cloud technologies across AWS and Azure, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement (GenAI).
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful project delivery within defined timeline & budget.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management, to gain support for data-driven initiatives.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost efficiency across both AWS and Azure environments while maintaining high performance and availability.
Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with data/ system integration/ analytics/ software life cycle as a Technical Architect in a product development environment.
- Proven Experience in conceiving/designing/ architecting/developing data & BI platforms using multi-cloud solutions (AWS and Azure).
- Proficient in designing large-scale DWH/ ETL solutions and In-depth knowledge of data models/ structures.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques and best practices for effective data communication.
- Strong SQL and Python, PySpark programming skills for data engineering.
- Strong GitHub skills.
- Documentation of critical artifacts such as Logical/Conceptual design, Source to Target mapping, System architecture etc.
- Problem-solving aptitude, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced product development environment and hands-on mentality to deliver innovative data solutions.
- Experience with working with an on-shore/off-shore model, with strong project management experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding data standardization practices in pharma domain, integrating Healthcare data, and security related to HIPAA is a plus.
- Experience with .Net preferred.
- Experience with data and system integration using RESTful APIs, web services, JSON and XML will be a plus.
- Experience with Master Data Management will be a plus.
