Job Description

As a Technical Architect at Coupa, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of integration projects. This includes managing customer expectations, working with project managers, mentoring integration engineers, and interfacing with customers' architecture and senior management on integration topics. You will design integration methodologies, configure and troubleshoot APIs, and resolve integration-related issues. Additionally, you will work with data and analytics teams to optimize data warehouse integrations and design data extraction and loading infrastructure. The role requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. The work environment fosters collaboration and global impact. Candidates should have experience with integration technologies, particularly in the Procurement and/or Accounts Payable Automation space.
Must have:
  • Manage integration projects successfully.
  • Architect large-scale ERP integrations with SAP/PeopleSoft/Oracle.
  • Hands-on experience with sFTP, RESTful APIs, and SSO.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience in Procurement and/or AP Automation.
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud hosting stacks.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, PeopleSoft or Oracle.

The Impact of a Technical Architect at Coupa:


What You'll Do:
  • Manage Successful Delivery of Integration Projects
  • Manage customer expectations and work with Coupa / Customer project managers to meet project timeline and quality obligations
  • Manage and mentor integration engineers from Coupa and Partners to successfully deliver the solution
  • Interface with customers’ architecture and senior management team on the integration topics/areas
  • Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off client site
  • Design integration extraction and consumption methodologies in and out of Coupa in a multi ERP environment
  • Configure, develop, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs and flat file based integrations
  • Detect, diagnose, and resolve integration related issues in a virtualized linux environment.
  • Work closely with customers, data and analytics team members to optimize data warehouse integrations between Coupa and customer data warehouses
  • Design and build the infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading of data from a variety of sources


What You Will Bring to Coupa:
  • 8+ years of overall experience working with integration technologies in the Procurement and/or AP Automation space
  • Proven hands on experience architecting large-scale integrations that involve ERP Integration with SAP / PeopleSoft / ORACLE E-Business Suite/Netsuite
  • Experience with one or more Finance and Procurement functional areas (e.g. Procure to Order, Procure to Pay, Expenses, Accounts Payable)
  • Hands on experience with sFTP, RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and Single Sign On configuration
  • ERP Domain Knowledge – SAP / PeopleSoft / ORACLE
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud host stack
  • Strong understanding of web technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
