This individual contributor will collaborate with Programming Leads, act as the Technical Point of Contact (POC) with global leaders, and drive architectural design, framework development, and technology evaluation. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, code review, team guidance, troubleshooting, and contributing to global tech strategy. The role requires strong C++, C#, Python, and Web API skills, along with expertise in automation frameworks and scalable system design.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect for our Quality Control (QC) team in Ubisoft Pune. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with two Programming Leads to design, plan, and develop scalable and sustainable Automation solutions for our games. Additionally, you will act as the Technical Point of Contact (POC), representing the QC Tech. team in discussions with global technical leaders across the organization.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Solutions Design: Identify and implement the most suitable technologies to solve QC challenges and improve efficiency.
  2. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with Product teams to understand business problems and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
  3. Architecture Development: Perform architecture analysis to derive non-functional requirements, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  4. Framework & Standards: Design and document system architecture, interfaces, and frameworks for automation solutions, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  5. Technical Guidance: Guide Programming Leads and teams in implementing frameworks and adhering to architecture best practices.
  6. Technology Evaluation: Propose and validate technology solutions for automation challenges, including proof-of-concept (POC) development.
  7. Code Quality: Conduct code reviews and promote best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with Programming Leads and Project Managers to define team composition, effort estimates, and execution strategies.
  9. Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot technical issues and provide expert guidance to teams as needed.
  10. Training Plans: Creating a long-term training plan for the Tech. teams for core technical trainings and work closely with L&D Manager to ensure execution.

Global Technical Leadership Responsibilities:

  1. Technical POC: Represent the QC team in global technical discussions, aligning QC solutions with organizational goals and ensuring cross-team collaboration.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with global tech leaders, ensuring QC automation efforts are integrated into the broader tech ecosystem.
  3. Knowledge Sharing: Act as a bridge between global and local tech teams, sharing best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies.
  4. Strategic Influence: Contribute to the global tech strategy by providing insights into QC challenges and automation opportunities.
