Below you will find some information on the role:
working closely with artists, programmers, VFX,
researching, developing and maintaining different art pipelines (mainly material related),
optimizing currently existing pipelines using the latest technology features,
upholding the most optimized and coherent usage of textures and materials among artists,
creating materials (using UE5 material nodes), profiling on artists and designers requests,
investigating, identifying and troubleshooting problems on the graphical side of the game (GPU profiling, to see how heavy selected materials are, how heavy the meshes are, etc.),
documenting technical limitations.
Feel free to apply if you have:
previous experience working in Unreal Engine 4/5,
previous experience in creating shaders (in HLSL),
experience in profiling and possessing the ability to detect the limitations on performance,
excellent communication skills as you will be working with a bunch of artists and other departments,
strong problem-solving skills.
