OWLCAT GAMES seeks a Technical Artist to join its Cinematics team, focusing on a new sci-fi RPG project built on UE5. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing cinematic technical aspects, collaborating with programmers on tool creation for the Cinematics department, evaluating existing tools and solutions, providing technical support and bug fixes, validating content from Cinematics and Animation teams, importing/exporting UE5 content, and creating presets and data assets. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a Technical Artist in the game industry and strong Unreal Engine skills (Sequencer, rigging, Blueprints, animation).
Must have:
  • 1.5+ years experience as Technical Artist
  • Strong Unreal Engine knowledge (Sequencer, rigging, Blueprints, animation)
  • Develop and optimize cinematic technical aspects
  • Collaborate with programmers on tool creation

Job Details

OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.

 

We're looking for a Technical Artist to join our Cinematics team working on the new sci-fi RPG project on UE5.

 

TASKS:

·      Development and optimization of the technical aspects of cinematics; ·      Collaborating with the programming team to create tools for the Cinematics department ·      Evaluating existing tools and technical solutions ·      Providing technical support for cinematics, including troubleshooting and bug fixes ·      Technical validation of content created by the Cinematics and Animation teams; ·      Importing and exporting content in UE5 ·      Creating presets and data assets for content

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·      Minimum of 1,5 years of experience as a Technical Artist in the game industry ·      Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine (Sequencer, rigging, Blueprints, animation)

 

WILL BE A PLUS:

·      Experience working with cinematics or character animation
