Role Overview:

As an Unreal Engine Technical Artist, you will bridge the gap between art and engineering. You'll collaborate with both teams to ensure the visual quality and performance of our projects. Your role will involve creating visually stunning assets while optimizing the workflow for artists, animators, and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with artists, animators, and engineers to develop and optimize art assets in Unreal Engine and 3D software.

  • Implement shaders, particle effects, lighting setups, and visual scripting.

  • Optimize assets and environments to ensure smooth performance across multiple platforms (PC, consoles, mobile, VR, etc.).

  • Develop and maintain tools and scripts to improve the workflow of the art team.

  • Debug and troubleshoot technical issues related to the engine, tools, and pipelines.

  • Research and implement the latest Unreal Engine features and techniques to maintain cutting-edge visuals.


Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in Unreal Engine.

  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4/5, including Blueprints, Niagara, Materials, Lighting, and Sequencer.

  • Experience with shader programming and real-time rendering techniques.

  • Strong understanding of 3D art pipelines (modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of PBR shading models and texturing techniques.

  • Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema4D, or similar.

  • Experience in graphics software and 3D texturing tools such as Photoshop and Adobe Substance 3D Painter.
