IO Interactive is currently looking for a Technical Character Artist to join Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI. Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.


What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the animation and character teams to create high-quality character deformations, rigs, and skins.
  • Develop and optimize character rigging and skinning processes to enhance animation quality and efficiency.
  • Implement advanced deformation techniques to achieve realistic character movements and expressions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of character assets into the game engine while maintaining performance standards.
  • Collaborate with the animation and cinematic teams to ensure seamless integration of facial animations into the game.


Who you are:

  • 3+ years working in the games industry in Technical Character Art/Rigging.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Maya, 3DsMax, Blender, or equivalent software for character animation and rigging.
  • Extensive sculpting, modeling, texturing and deformations experience.
  • Experience with setting up physic simulation for cloth.
  • Familiarity with motion capture technology and processes.

About The Company

IO Interactive is a 25-year old, AAA independent game studio, creators of HITMAN, Kane & Lynch, Mini Ninjas and Freedom Fighters. We are currently working on Project 007, Project Fantasy, and continue to develop Glacier, our award-winning game engine.


We are a diverse team of designers, producers, artists, programmers and operations supporters from 40+ different nationalities, working on cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art game design.
