About the role:
The Technical Compliance Director will play a crucial role in evaluating iGaming regulations and ensuring our products are compliant. This position requires a deep understanding of the iGaming industry, regulatory frameworks, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive regulatory evaluations, identifying gaps, and formulating strategic plans to address compliance issues.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and interpret iGaming regulations across various jurisdictions.
- Conduct detailed assessments of existing products to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
- Identify and document compliance gaps and potential risks.
- Write the business requirements resulted from the legislation analysis, submit via the EveryMatrix Features process and support the process as needed.
- Offer support to Delivery Managers and Product Managers to establish the appropriate solution that would satisfy the requirement and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internal and on the client side, including product development, legal, and compliance to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on changes in iGaming regulations and industry best practices.
- Prepare and present reports on regulatory compliance status to senior management.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
- Work closely with external regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Actively contribute in tenders where technical compliance information is needed.
- Collaborate with the commercial department to establish the yearly new markets entry strategy.
- Participate in audits and regulatory reviews as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in the iGaming or gambling industry.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of iGaming regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory documents and identify compliance gaps.
- Proficient in MS Office and Jira.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using business analysis tools and software.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or a related field.
- Familiarity with risk management and audit processes.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the iGaming industry.
