Job Summary

Job Description

The Technical Consultant will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and supporting Monitoring Analytics and Connected Care hardware and software solutions. This role involves delivering professional IT services, supporting project implementation teams, providing training, diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues, collaborating with customers, suggesting improvements, and identifying new service opportunities. The consultant will need to work with HL7, FHIR or comparable technologies and Philips products like PIC iX, IGS, ISP, CareEvent, ICCA. They will be expected to have strong customer service skills and good organizational, time management, and planning skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
  • Experience in professional service development in healthcare industry.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and system integration.
  • HL7 System integration between Philips products and other systems.
  • Expert knowledge of the HPM and EMR Philips products.

Job Description

Design, install, configure, test, maintain and support Monitoring Analytics and Connected Care hardware and software solutions.

Your role:

  • Deliver professional IT services to our customers as one off or as part of larger project engagements
  • Support the project implementation teams, consisting of project managers, clinical consultants and field service engineers, with your IT expertise and experience on healthcare system integration
  • Deliver training to internal and external customers
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, remotely and on-site
  • Collaborate with the customers and the Customer Care Solutions Center to identify, analyze and develop a resolution plan to resolve customer’s issues
  • Proactively suggest process and product improvements
  • Identify new professional service opportunities by providing data and value analysis
  • Strengthen our IT value proposition


You're the right fit if:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Information Systems Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science

Relevant experience in professional service development in the healthcare industry

Excellent customer service skills

Strong organizational, time management and planning skills

Demonstrated knowledge and/or advanced certifications in:

  • IT Infrastructure and system integration
  • HL7 System integration between Philips products and other systems in hospitals such as EMRs, Hospital Information Systems, Lab Systems or bedside devices
  • Lyniate Rhapsody
  • Device and System Integration via HL7, FHIR or comparable technologies. A HL7 certification
  • Expert knowledge of the HPM and EMR Philips products such as PIC iX, IGS, ISP, CareEvent, ICCA
