Join Philips as a Technical Department Manager – Infra Electronics in the Mechatronics Development Cluster, where you will lead a high-performing team responsible for the design and development of various electrical and electronic components, assemblies, subsystems cables, EMI/EMC, and other key infrastructure subsystems for Philips Image Guided Therapy systems.
Your Role
Leadership: Lead the Hardware department comprising approximately 15 engineers primarily located in the Netherlands.
Goals setting and Performance evaluations: Set goals, conduct performance evaluations and oversee career development for team members.
Technical Leadership & Talent Development: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the technical team. Attract, retain, and develop top talent, fostering a high-performing team.
Delivery & Execution: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality design, within an Agile/SAFe setup.
Strategic & Resource Planning: Contribute to budget and resource planning and progressively influence the development methods and product roadmaps of sub systems used in IGT Fixed systems.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure all deliverables meet the quality standards and medical regulatory standards with thorough documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Handle relationships with customers, as well as with internal partners like Innovation, Development, Operations, PMO, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Service.

You’re the Right Fit If You Have:
At least 5 years of leadership experience in technical management.
A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in R&D, experience in IGT is a plus.
Proven experience in hands on electrical designs, EMI/EMC.
Proven experience building and leading high-performance R&D teams.
Proven experience in driving agile development, preferably using SAFe.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Electronics Engineering.
A Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt will be a plus.
A commitment to delivering safe and effective healthcare solutions.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
