Job Details

Kinetik is a high-growth healthcare technology company reshaping the severely fragmented healthcare transportation industry. We equip health insurances, brokers, and providers with our suite of products and solutions that are proven to increase efficiency, transparency, and interoperability.

About the Technical Product Manager Role:

Kinetik is seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the development and execution of technically complex products. This role bridges product strategy and technical product execution, ensuring a well-defined roadmap, efficient backlog management, and close collaboration with engineering and design teams. The TPM should have a strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and integrations, enabling them to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, and work with engineers to scope and plan development efforts. While direct coding experience is not required, the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts is critical.

This person will play a key role in ensuring that our platform is scalable, reliable, and capable of supporting integrations across multiple stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem. The person will also work with enterprise customers and our Customer Success team to gather technical feedback and ensure smooth implementations.

The Technical Product Manager Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a clear product roadmap, balancing short-term execution with long-term vision.
  • Partner with engineering teams to break down technical requirements, estimate sprints, and prioritize backlog items.
  • Own the development of detailed technical specifications, working closely with engineers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Deeply understand our tech stack and how our systems integrate; document and communicate these insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, translating product vision into actionable development plans.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure product usability and intuitive workflows.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to incorporate enterprise customer feedback and improve implementations.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine product strategy and inform feature development.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, automation, and system scalability.
  • Monitor and measure product performance, making iterative improvements based on feedback and KPIs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.
  • Educational background in Computer Science or work experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to conceptualize software architectures, APIs, and integrations (e.g., cloud computing, data platforms, AI-driven products).
  • Experience working closely with remote engineering teams, defining technical specifications, and managing sprints.
  • Proven ability to drive product roadmap planning and backlog prioritization.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset and ability to leverage analytics to inform decisions.
  • Understanding of design principles and experience with UI/UX and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Balsamiq.
  • Experience in healthcare is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel if needed.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours if needed.
  • Valid work authorization required.
