ByteDance seeks Technical Product Managers to spearhead the development and deployment of a new interactive global game platform. Responsibilities include conducting technical architecture assessments, creating product requirement specifications, ensuring technical compliance, performing automated testing, coordinating game development (from mockup to deployment), improving proprietary game engines, and managing cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Provide project management of new interactive global game platform development and deployment by conducting technical architecture assessment in collaboration with game development team, including game designers, front and back-end developers, and game testers. Create technical product requirement specifications and collaborate with engineers on technical design of product features. Support technical compliance evaluations and implement compliance-related features of new and existing gaming products with quality standards and market regulations. Analyze technical design documents to identify high-level test scenarios and conduct automated testing to optimize designs and maintain the system, including optimizing app client and backend performance. Coordinate the development of new games and software from the production stage, including mockup, designs, infrastructure, data compilation, and technical compliance evaluations. Improve the proprietary game engines to further increase product quality and introduce it to new markets. Work cross-functionally to define, market, coordinate, develop, execute and/or enhance various sets of new and existing products opportunities. Manage and coordinate cross-platform technical collaboration and communication.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Analyzing and interpreting results from experimental design, standard experimental design, randomized control test, data-driven statistical analysis, and attribution analysis to gain insights that inform business decisions; Building dashboards and reports to gather and process large quantities of data to support the monitoring and evaluation of product performance using SQL and analyzing reports on Google Analytics; Managing projects involving cross-functional stakeholders to formulate workplan, drive alignment, coordinate collaboration, and deliver strategic business outcome; Performing end-to-end product management, including coordinating cross-functional teams in product conceptualization, design, development, and deployment; and Using Product Management tool, including JIRA and MS Office, to write detailed technical product requirement and user stories. 【For Pay Transparency】 Compensation Description (Hourly)

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $205187- $237500.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
