Job Description

As an Analytics Technical Program Manager for Energy and Location Strategy (ELS) Data and Analytics at Google, you'll develop analytics insights supporting Data Center delivery and agreements. You'll build full-stack advanced analytics solutions (including data pipelines, predictive and optimization models, and visualization tools) to solve business problems. Responsibilities include improving and maintaining machine learning/optimization models, collaborating with cross-functional teams on data and feature requests, and providing updates on project milestones. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Python and SQL, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll work on improving demand and planning signals for better decision-making.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects.
  • 2 years of experience with Python and SQL.
  • 2 years of experience in analytical modeling with a focus on forecasting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience within energy markets and optimization models.
  • Experience with data integrations and data pipelines.
  • Experience with scaling tooling from prototype to production (and self service capabilities).

You will co-own and build full stack advanced analytics solutions that solve business problems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Improve, maintain, and run machine learning/optimization models and other advanced analytical tools to centralize Data Center delivery and add new features to existing models based on prioritization and stakeholder feedback.
  • Design and develop a full stack analytical solution to solve defined business problems, and collaborate data pipelines, building predictive and optimization models, implementing tooling visualization/application, configuration for deployment.
  • Aid in improving demand and planning signals received from cross-functional partner teams in order to improve the signal to noise ratio.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder groups to make decisions about data, feature requests, model development, and give updates on ongoing workstream and key milestones.
