Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

Your Role

As a Technical Program Manager at Polygon Labs, you will orchestrate and manage complex Web3 projects and initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in program management, blockchain technologies, and strategic planning to ensure the successful execution of our Web3 roadmap.

Your Responsibilities

  • Program Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership and product managers to define program objectives, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with the company's Web3 vision. The ability to write a Product Requirements Doc (PRD) is a plus. 

  • Project Coordination: Lead a portfolio of Web3 projects, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives. Oversee project managers and teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.

  • Technical Proficiency: Maintain a deep understanding of Web3 technologies, blockchain platforms, smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps), and related tools and protocols.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks. Develop contingency plans and address issues that may impact program delivery.

  • Resource Allocation: Manage program resources, including budgets, staffing, and technology requirements. Ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization.

  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality Web3 solutions. Oversee testing, validation, and compliance with industry standards.Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular updates on program progress, milestones, and deviations from the plan.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including strategic plans, program charters, and status reports.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging Web3 technologies. Propose and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance program efficiency.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager in the Web3 or blockchain industry.

  • Strong knowledge of blockchain technologies, such as Ethereum, Polygon, Polkadot, or other relevant networks, and familiarity with consensus protocols.

  • Proficiency in program management methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving program requirements and priorities.

  • Experience with DApps, and Smart Contract development is a plus.Certifications like PgMP, PMP, or similar are advantageous.
