Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade offs in product development with engineers. In this role, you will develop a culture where security, risk, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop industry leading programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience in program management
  • Experience with Audit Compliance
  • Experience with Risk management compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams in a fluid environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed
Good to have:
  • Experience in areas like scaled program management, change management, communication strategy, and Program Manager (PgM) generalist
  • Ability to be an influential member of a team composed of technical and non-technical members

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Data Center teams to ensure that the programs are aligned to audit/compliance expectations and help prepare them for future audits.
  • Coordinate, manage, and execute on site audits from various sources (customer, insurance, etc,) with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and collaborate with the team and partners to help shape and drive the development of the Data Center compliance program.
  • Help enhance, transform, create or deprecate practices and processes, with the key objective of supporting the compliance and auditability across the organization.
  • Create and maintain program documentation and trainings.
