As a Technical Program Manager I at Google, you'll leverage your technical skills to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll define requirements, identify risks, oversee project timelines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include understanding product needs, guiding resource management, collaborating with engineers to identify efficiency opportunities, using tools to manage capacity allocations, improving processes and tools through automation, and driving analysis to maximize business value from available resources. This role requires experience in program management, data analytics, and proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, SQL, or JavaScript).

Minimum qualifications:

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with product area partners to understand their needs and provide them a guided resource management experience.
  • Work with engineers to discover efficiency opportunities in the existing resource footprints we manage.
  • Use tooling in order to drive capacity allocations and allied processes. 
  • Invest in making personal contributions to improving processes and tools, as well as partnering with other teams to drive scale-up through automation.
  • Drive analysis and metrics to improve the ability to maximize business value from the resources available.
