Job Summary
Job Description
As a Technical Program Manager at Google's Health AI team, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Engineering, Research, Design, UX, Clinical, Regulatory, Partnerships, Customer Support, and Marketing) to define workstreams, requirements, schedules, resourcing, and milestones. Responsibilities include developing data-driven solutions, communicating project status to various stakeholders, demonstrating technical expertise, and fostering a positive team environment. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in software development and ideally, consumer health and fitness products. You'll contribute to Google's Health AI program by driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years technical program management experience
- Software development lifecycle experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Lead cross-functional projects
Good to have:
- Experience with consumer health and fitness products
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in technical program management.
- Experience with software development cycle.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in consumer health and fitness products.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate and build alignment with cross-functional partners such as, Product Management, Engineering, Research, Design, User Experience, Clinical, Regulatory, Research, Partnerships, Customer Support, and Marketing to define all workstreams, requirements, schedules, resourcing, and milestones.
- Develop data insights and solutions to issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence program execution and strategy.
- Communicate project status to different audiences, including cross-functional teams and executives.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and thought leadership to run projects from early exploration to model development to user validation.
- Help the team work in a culture of trust and respect.
