About the Team ByteDance Networking brings together innovative ideas and technologies from network architecture, intent-based networking, network virtualization, switch software and hardware co-design, and high-speed networking, to create hyperscale data-center networking solutions that power several of the most popular apps in the world, such as Douyin and TikTok, which serve hundreds of millions of users around the globe. ByteDance Networking is responsible for designing, building, and operating the global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance. By joining this team, you will gain marketable software development and/or network operation experience in data center networking at massive scale. Responsibilities: - Lead technical programs focused on expanding, optimizing, and improving edge network infrastructure. - Collaborate with network engineering, edge data center, and product teams to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria. - Manage end-to-end execution of edge network deployments, including PoP turn-ups, capacity expansions, and infrastructure optimizations. - Develop and maintain roadmaps, program plans, and key performance metrics to track and report on project progress. - Drive risk assessment and mitigation planning to proactively address potential blockers. - Establish and improve processes for scaling edge deployments efficiently. - Communicate program updates, technical challenges, and success metrics to leadership and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in technical program management or network engineering, with a focus on edge networks, CDNs, or global infrastructure. - Good understanding of network infrastructure, including BGP, peering, transit, routing, and data center interconnections. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive alignment across technical and business teams. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Proven experience managing large-scale network deployments or infrastructure expansion programs.
