Technical Project Manager, Infrastructure - Server Fleet Operations

The Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable. As a Technical Project Manager in the server fleet operation team, you will drive critical infrastructure initiatives in partnership with business stakeholders and across engineering teams. You see projects from inception to the hands-off of the customer, ensuring effective communication and timely, high-quality delivery. Responsibilities: - Drive all aspects of project management (planning, incorporating dependencies, key milestones and deliverables, data gathering, analysis, communication, risk management and mitigation, status tracking and reporting, implementation, monitoring, execution, and delivery of the initiative/project). - Drive strategic, cross-team initiatives. - Influence and collaborate across teams, including engineering and product, to effectively build commitment with implementation teams, negotiate competing requirements, ensure alignment and project progress, and improve processes. - Communicate project plans, risks, and issues to stakeholders. - Partner with the Program Manager and leadership to identify and solve challenges.

Minimum Requirement: - 3+ years of project management experience driving complex, cross-functional, multi-regional technical projects - Strong experience with project management tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Asana. Experience in hardware or software engineering project management. Expertise in Agile project management. - Self-starter, responsible, comprehensive, follow-through, passionate Preferred Qualifications: - Familiar with infrastructure technologies including data center, server, networking, systems, etc. - Familiar with data center construction and operations, network infrastructure, and asset management workflows, market, and user requirements ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
