Job Description

As a Technical Solutions Consultant III at Google's gTech, you'll be a technical consultant and trusted advisor for Google Ads customers. You'll leverage your troubleshooting skills to identify root causes, develop solutions, and communicate effectively with various audiences. Responsibilities include prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer service, troubleshooting complex technical issues, developing diagnostic tools and automation, planning for customer success, and improving product offerings through feedback. You'll work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Business Solutions teams to ensure a positive customer experience within the evolving Ads ecosystem. Deep understanding of online advertising, particularly Google Ads, is crucial. This role demands strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience using Google Ads or other online advertising solutions and the media/tech landscape.
  • Experience working in technical product support, cloud support, quality engineering, or site reliability engineering.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience in business analysis to conduct analytics, develop dashboards, and make recommendations.
  • Ability to work well in a fluid environment to solve problems and think critically.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey, troubleshooting and resolving issues with Google's advertisers and Sales teams, agencies and partners.
  • Learn our AI powered Ads products like DV360, our Ads platforms.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical product issues and apply product expertise to solve technical customer issues and escalations.
  • Develop tools and automation for better diagnostics/data fixes and debugging, either separately or in partnership with Product Engineering teams. Plan for customers, root cause resolution via knowledge management, operational improvements, account reviews, and product adoption.
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering and Business Solutions teams. Partner with our Sales and other cross-functional partners as applicable to own and continuously improve the journey of all clients.
