Job Description

KRAFTON is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Sourcing Specialist to support the Technical Sourcing Manager in managing technical partnerships, contracting, and sourcing within the games and entertainment industry. The role involves contributing to technical evaluations, facilitating stakeholder communication, managing contract and license processes, and overseeing third-party solutions for the publishing platform. This position requires a global perspective and the ability to collaborate with international partners, managing technical partnerships, gathering requirements, conducting due diligence, and monitoring partner development roadmaps. The specialist will also assist in process improvement, automation, and budget tracking for external solutions.

Must have:

10+ years in technical sourcing or partnership management
Understanding of technical solutions in the game industry
Experience in technical due diligence and evaluation
Experience in licensing and contracting negotiations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Degree in a relevant field
Fluency in Korean and English

Good to have:

Experience in global or gaming companies
Experience working with external partners
Familiarity with platform business
Experience with data management and analysis
Proficiency in a third language

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Sourcing Specialist to assist the Technical Sourcing Manager in managing technical partnerships, contracting, and sourcing within the games and/or entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will contribute to technical evaluations, facilitate communication with stakeholders, contract and license processes, and effectively manage 3rd party solutions for publishing platform. The position requires a global perspective and the ability to work with international partners.

Manage technical partnerships with global companies.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and streamline communication regarding external solutions.
Conduct due diligence on potential partners and their solutions.
License and contract processes with external partners, including document preparation and tracking.
Monitor partner development roadmaps and communicate relevant information to the Technical Sourcing Manager.
Contribute to process improvement and automation efforts within the sourcing and analytics pipeline.
Help track and manage budget execution for external solutions, providing data and insights to the Technical Sourcing Manager.
Coordinate with various divisions and studios within Krafton regarding the usage and management of external solutions.

10+ years of experience in technical sourcing, partnership management, or related fields, preferably within the games or entertainment industry.
Understanding of external technical solutions relevant to the game industry.
Ability to take part in technical due diligence and evaluation processes.
Experience in licensing and contracting negotiations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or related discipline), with a commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends..
Fluency in Korean and English.
