Job Description

Apexon seeks a Technical Support 3 professional to provide expert-level support in diagnosing, implementing, maintaining, and administering IT systems and networks. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software issues (40%), leading teams in IT system planning and implementation and developing operational procedures (35%), administering server environments and managing network infrastructure (15%), and enforcing security standards and pursuing continuous technical training (10%). This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills for collaboration with users, management, and vendors.

Role Description: We are seeking a Technical Support 3 professional to provide expert-level support in diagnosing, implementing, maintaining, and administering IT systems and networks. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and leadership, ensuring optimal performance and security of IT resources.

 

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities): 

  • Technical Support & Problem Resolution (40%):
    Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues using advanced tools and elevated privileges.
  • Leadership & Oversight (35%):
    Lead teams in the planning and implementation of IT systems and networks. Develop operational procedures for IT support teams.
  • Systems Maintenance & Administration (15%):
    Administer and maintain server environments and manage network infrastructure.
  • Additional Responsibilities (10%):
    Enforce security standards, provide virus/spyware remediation, and pursue continuous technical training.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of IT experience and 3+ years of customer service experience.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage technical teams and ensure compliance with security standards.
    • Proficiency in both on-site and remote IT support.
    • Strong communication skills for collaboration with users, management, and vendors.

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

  •  Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
