Job Description

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, repair, and maintenance of IT equipment in live studio environments. You will also perform technical quality assurance, prepare reports, and follow established protocols. This role involves configuring, installing, and maintaining video mixers, signal converters, splitters, and other video devices. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of network equipment and cabling in studios, including low voltage, data, SDI, and optical fiber. Additionally, you will install, calibrate, and maintain video walls, promotional tablets, and monitors to ensure content is displayed in the desired quality. Other duties include the installation and administration of CCTV cameras and servers, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures. You will be responsible for accurate and timely execution of tasks, ensuring compliance and accuracy of information provided. This role requires strong technical skills in telecommunications and information technology, along with proficiency in network and video cable management. Experience with patching machines, labeling machines, ethernet (RJ45), and coaxial (SDI) crimping tools is essential. You must possess a high sense of responsibility, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and a collaborative team spirit.

Must have:

Higher education in Telecommunications or Information Technology
Professional Working Proficiency in English
Deep knowledge and experience of network and video cable management
Experience with patching machines, labeling machines, ethernet (RJ45), and coaxial (SDI) crimping tools
High sense of responsibility
Ability to accurately fulfill direct management orders and work tasks
Ability to work in a team

Job Description

IT equipment installation, configuration, repairs, and maintenance
Perform technical quality assurance of live studio environments, prepare necessary report data and fill protocols
Video mixers, signal converters, splitters and other video devices configuration, installation, and maintenance
Network equipment and cabling installation in studios - low voltage, data, SDI, optical fiber installation and maintenance
Video walls, promotional tablets and monitors installation, calibration for content in desired quality
Installation and administration of CCTV cameras and servers
Perform his/her duties in accordance with standards and procedures established by the company
Comply to Internal Policy and instructions
Perform job obligations in proper, high quality and timely manner
Ensure compliance and accuracy of the provided information
Timely execution of any other reasonable tasks provided by the Direct Manager falling within the held position
Replace colleagues during their vacations, sick leaves and other absences, provided that replacement take place during working time and shall not be considered as additional work (overtime)
Ensure full attendance at trainings and workshops necessary for job assignments according to the development plan and request of the Direct Manager
Be Responsible for trusted work resources and items
Carry out the activities related to person safety

Qualifications

Higher education in Telecommunications or Information Technology
Professional Working Proficiency in English
Deep knowledge and experience of network and video cable management, patching machines, labeling machines, ethernet (RJ45) and coaxial (SDI) crimping tools
High sense of responsibility
The ability to accurately fulfil the direct management orders and work tasks
The ability to work in a team
Up to 3 years formal experience in telecommunication, information technology’s, server hardware and video distribution systems
