The technical writer will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to prepare and publish content for product releases, following established procedures and suggesting improvements. Strong English skills, proficiency in Git, Google Suite, and markup files are required, along with familiarity with documentation tools like Docusaurus. The candidate will also be expected to interact with RESTful APIs, product front-ends, and the command-line interface on a Linux-based OS.

ReversingLabs is looking for a technical writer to join the existing team with the goal of improving our customer-facing product documentation. You will independently use and document ReversingLabs products, and be responsible for maintaining and publishing user guides, changelogs, and other written instructional content for our customers.

Strong English skills are a must, and technical skills are required to use Git, Google Suite, and markup files for editing documentation. Familiarity with documentation tools like Docusaurus is a plus. You will also be expected to interact with our RESTful APIs and product front-ends. Additionally, you should be willing and able to learn how to use the command-line interface on a Linux-based OS to work with our automated documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

Write product documentation and changelogs.
Use ReversingLabs products and document new features from scratch.
Work closely with developers, QA engineers, Product and Program Managers on preparing and publishing content for product releases.
Follow standard procedures, recommended documentation practices and in-house guides, and suggest ways to improve them.
