Position Overview
As Tencent Cloud International continues its rapid global expansion, we are seeking a driven Associate Account Representative to join Sales Trainee program. This role offers a unique opportunity to be groomed and trained in our Go-To-Market strategies while building and nurturing relationships with key partners. Your efforts will directly contribute to generating new service opportunities and accelerating the growth of existing ones within targeted markets and sectors.
Responsibilities
Account Management Support: Partner with and support senior Sales team members throughout the entire customer account management lifecycle, from contract preparation and negotiation to managing operational and administrative tasks.
Lead Generation and Sales Opportunities: Utilize your networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and identify strategic, solution-based sales opportunities that align with our business objectives.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Develop and maintain high-value relationships with key stakeholders, providing leadership and guidance on enterprise accounts and contributing to the development of sales and marketing collateral.
Contract Negotiations and Sales Execution: Collaborate with the Business Contracts Manager on contract negotiations, ensuring smooth execution of strategic account plans, sales forecasting, and revenue growth.
Product Proficiency and Strategic Planning: Become an expert in Tencent’s cloud offerings, understanding customer needs to provide tailored service solutions. Develop strategic plans based on industry trends and customer analysis, working closely with the Solutions Engineer team to deliver maximum value to our customers.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with graduation expected between January 2024 and December 2025. Candidates still studying must be available to join by the end of 2025.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Sales, Business Development, and Account Management within the cloud services industry. Previous cloud or software sales internship experience is highly advantageous.
Demonstrates a “hunter” mentality with an exceptional ability to close sales. Proven capability to generate leads, pursue opportunities, and successfully convert them into sales.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese Mandarin, essential for managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with the Cloud, CDN, SaaS industry, and the broader internet space.
Experience in analyzing data, market trends, and customer needs to develop compelling selling points and strategies.
