Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Teradata Developer to join our Data Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and high-performance data warehousing solutions using Teradata. You will work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that support business decision-making.
Good To Have:
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
Must Have:
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and macros in Teradata.
- Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data loading strategies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing Teradata databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning strategies.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Document development phases and monitor systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Teradata Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Teradata SQL, BTEQ scripting, and utilities.
- Experience with Teradata Studio and other Teradata tools.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and scripting.
- Understanding of data security, compliance, and best practices.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
