Trek is now recruiting for the position of Territory Manager & District Manager, NSW. This is a permanent position reporting to the National Sales Manager. This is a unique role supporting sales through independent dealers of the Territory & our network of Trek Company Owned Stores.  This combined role allows for the shared experiences of our dealers and Trek Stores to create efficiencies and world class hospitality.  Through these avenues the primary goal is to sustainably grow the market share of the Trek family of brands within the territory and to expand our direct customers through exceptional hospitality.

Key accountabilities include:
 

  • Building great relationships with our retailers
  • Retailer training through the Trek Continuous Improvement Program
  • New Business Development
  • Maintaining exemplary customer service within the retail stores
  • Analysing retail data to grow overall market share
  • Developing and executing plans to improve store and area performance as needed
  • Recruiting, developing and motivating Store Managers who exceed internal and external customer expectations
  • Establishing a strong customer service/selling culture
  • Analysing P&L results and trends to increase and maximise sales & profitability
  • Controlling labour hours, cash, store audits and shrinkage
  • Performing complete and thorough district reviews of each store on a consistent and frequent basis to determine the stores are operating in accordance with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to cash security and compliance policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Preference will be given to applicants who have:

  • Excellent strategic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to drive sales through others
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Retail Management
  • Sound computer proficiency
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
  • Relentless positive attitude and collaborative leadership expertise
  • Extensive experience delivering a high level of customer service
  • A general understanding of the bicycle industry and a passion for cycling
  • Self-motivation to perform consistently to the Trek standards

As this is a field-based position, you will be required to work autonomously and have the ability to travel as required.
