Job Summary

Job Description

As a Territory Manager for Google Workspace New Business, you'll inspire leading companies, schools, and government agencies to utilize Google tools. You'll advocate for Google Workspace, Search, and Chrome, focusing on improving organizational productivity, collaboration, and mobility. Responsibilities include managing sales opportunities, working with cross-functional teams, serving as the primary customer contact, achieving strategic goals, forecasting accurately, and collaborating with customer engineers and partners. You'll drive business development, focusing on small and medium businesses, and contribute to long-term planning and initiatives. The role requires building relationships, prospecting, and creating strong outbound programs for pipeline generation. You'll be responsible for leading customers through the entire business cycle, maximizing business results, and influencing customer acquisition, growth, and experience.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years SaaS sales experience to SMBs
  • CRM experience
  • Outbound sales program generation
  • Cross-functional teamwork
  • Achieving strategic goals
Good to have:
  • Technical/Sales Engineering background
  • Cloud computing market understanding
  • Google Cloud product passion
  • Channel partner collaboration

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in selling SaaS solutions to SMBs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Experience with technical or sales engineering in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Understanding of the technology and cloud computing market, and a passion for Google Cloud products (Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Ability to build influential relationships and work with channel partners, to deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.
  • Ability to prospect, build customer lists, and drive a strong outbound program for pipeline generation.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage opportunities through the entire cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
  • Work towards assigned strategic goals while prioritizing an effective customer experience to customers and prospects.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
  • Work with our customer engineers and trusted Google Cloud partners as a key member of the Sales team to maximize business results and develop opportunities with small and medium businesses.
  • Drive long-term planning and initiatives in collaboration with peers and cross-functional teams to influence customer acquisition, growth, and experience.
