Test Analyst

Job Description

Responsible for the testing elements of both the SIT and UAT phases of the automation lifecycle. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.

Responsibilities

Support development of detailed test cases along with Business Process experts during SIT phase.

Executes test cases during SIT phase.

Provides preparation/ execution status updates during SIT phase.

Develop detailed test cases along with Business Process experts during UAT phase.

Execute test cases during UAT phase.

Identifies and logs defects during SIT and UAT phase.

Document the test plan for the RPA project for the UAT stage.

Identify the scope/testing approach/defect management within the test plan for UAT phase.

Define the schedule for the UAT phase.

Plan for test resources and test environment required for test execution during the UAT phase.

Monitors the progress and publishes the status of the UAT.

Active participant in defect triage meetings.

Participate in RPA test discussions and provide and obtain sign offs.

Experience And Skillset

3-5 years of test experience.

1-2 years of RPA experience desired.

Experience with testing (manual).

Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.

Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.

Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple projects.

Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exposure to testing tools including UiPath Test Suite.

Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
