Project description
We've been engaged by a large APAC financial institution to provide resources for a range of web application and .NET projects.
By joining this program, you will have the benefit of working with an established team alongside onsite staff, fully involved in the project initiation through to implementation. You will contribute to ensuring high-quality deliverables while gaining valuable experience in testing various financial applications.
Responsibilities
You will be a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst focusing on:
Define the test strategy and develop test cases for your squad's work.
Execute the agreed-upon test cases for web applications, .NET applications, and BI reports.
Analyze test run outputs, identify, analyze, and remediate issues.
Design and automate test cases using relevant testing tools and frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout ST, SIT, and UAT phases to ensure quality deliverables.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide testing updates.
Maintain and enhance testing documentation and reports
Skills
Must have
6+ years of strong experience in web application testing automation.
Expertise in JavaScript programming, with solid knowledge of testing frameworks such as Mocha or Cucumber and WebdriverIO.
Experience with NodeJS.
Experience with MS SQL and Unix is mandatory.
Proficiency in data mining tools, including Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and Tableau.
Experience with data warehouse and BI reports, including Power BI and web reports.
Familiarity with Azure cloud apps and SQL pool.
Knowledge of cubes (via SSMS and Excel pivots).
Experience with test tools like Rally and qTest.
Strong experience in software testing and technical business analysis.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with Agile testing practices.

Murex Performance testing
DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc)
Experience in .NET application testing and BI reports testing.
Batch processing testing
Control-M
Experience in the market risk domain, including:
Processing files from upstream systems
Calculating daily market risk figures
Mapping and aggregating official EOD risk
Creating and performing limit checks
Performing key risk indicator checks
Conducting data quality validation
