Job Description

The Test & Commissioning Engineer/Technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating the electrical and functional systems of railway subsystems. Key responsibilities include conducting various tests such as cabling, sub-system, and train tests, interpreting electrical schematics, and using diagnostic tools and measurement instruments. The role also involves identifying and repairing electrical faults, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, generating test reports, collaborating with teams for issue resolution, and working flexibly across shifts. Emphasis is placed on upholding safety protocols and EHS standards. This role is critical for ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of railway products.

Job Details

We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Test & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer / Technician to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating electrical and functional systems of railway subsystems. Your expertise will contribute directly to ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of our products. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct cabling, sub-system, and train functional, performance, and safety tests. 

  • Interpret electrical schematics and wire lists accurately. 

  • Operate and utilize diagnostic tools, testing software, and programming interfaces (software loading). 

  • Use measurement instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators. 

  • Identify, trace, and repair electrical faults with rigor and precision. 

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable norms, safety regulations, and internal standards. 

  • Record inspection results accurately and generate test reports. 

  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. 

  • Work flexibly across shifts, adapting to changing conditions and environments. 

  • Uphold safety protocols, including PPE usage and EHS standards.
