Luxoft seeks a Test Engineer to contribute to a cloud-based platform for automotive data integration. Responsibilities include test case creation and execution based on customer and software requirements, building test environments, reporting results, defect tracking, and collaborating with clients. The role involves working with REST APIs, test automation (Java/Python/JavaScript), and database technologies. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of software testing experience and at least 2 years of REST API testing and automation experience. The project uses an Agile methodology and requires proactive communication and collaboration.

Project description

In the rapidly evolving landscape of modern mobility and transport services, a significant challenge lies in seamlessly integrating the elements of automotive OEM infrastructure with diverse services of external partners. Luxoft will develop a Cloud platform to exchange, integrate and process data from and to the vehicle, the Mobileye SDS backend, and the MaaS System. The AWS-based solution will be designed by reviewing and improving the current concept in close cooperation with the client and further stakeholders to identify, manage and document the requirements. Our approach will be iterative, adaptive, and executed with a proactive Agile methodology. Luxoft will provide a development team with great experience in modern development practices, which are self-organized, cross-functional, and experienced to deliver in quality, time, and budget.

Responsibilities

Completely accountable for quality and timely delivery of own tasks.

Test cases creation based on Customer and Software requirements

Build up test environment

Test cases execution

Test case logs/results reporting, defects registering (defects tracking system)

Defects verification/reproducing

Timely report status and progress of the assigned activities to supervisor.

Learn and improve technical knowledge, comply with Luxoft Automotive LOB processes

Review, analysis and test case creation for comprehensive Customer/Software Requirements and scenarios

Test case maintenance in compliance with product evolution, requirements and test cases traceability tracking  

Test automation scripts creation/run

Interactions (e.g, call conf, emails) with Client if required.  

Testing documentation creation

instructions, user guides, test reports

Provide the Test Manager with accurate estimates for assigned task duration

High-level test documentation updating and maintenance. Assistance in creation test strategy, test plan, release test documentation.

Analyze and estimate testing efforts for Change Requests.

Regression tests strategy selection

Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test deliverables and test environments used

Provide technical guidance/trainings to junior-level test engineers

Skills

Must have

3+ years of software testing experience

At least 2+ years of experience with TREST API Testing, with Test Automation with JAVA/Python/JAVASCRIPT

Functional Testing

Database knowledge

Nice to have

AWS

ISTQB

Cloud knowledge

Automotive domain and ASPICE
