Job Description

As a Test Lead at Lionbridge Games, you will be an essential part of our mission to deliver epic gaming experiences. You will implement procedures and quality standards, develop comprehensive Test Plans, analyze test results, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. You will also lead and mentor test team members, overseeing test plan execution, assisting in environment setup, and contributing to documentation processes. You will identify risks and coach junior staff, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their capabilities. This role requires strong prioritization skills and a passion for video games.
Must have:
  • 2-3 years of testing experience with leadership.
  • Professional proficiency in English (C1/C2 level).
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the gaming market.
  • Strong QA methodologies and testing standards.
  • Experience in writing and executing test plans.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).

What You Will Do:

  • Implement and uphold proper procedures and quality standards for assigned projects.
  • Develop comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases based on client specifications and generate detailed reports.
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and assess usability through a centralized project database.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the testing process.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage test team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of test plans and test cases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of test environments, facilitating smooth testing operations.
  • Drive the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of test data and documentation processes.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and training of new testing staff, leveraging your expertise to cultivate talent within the team.
  • Identify and report risks, actively participating in problem-solving and solution development.
  • Coach junior staff, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their testing capabilities and decision-making skills.

 

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • 2-3 years of testing experience with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related field preferred.
  • Professional proficiency in English (C1/C2 level).
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills.
  • Passion for video games and a solid understanding of the gaming market.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with creativity, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Strong academic or practical knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and software testing standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing detailed test plans, executing test strategies, and conducting exploratory testing.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile context.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
