- You clean and repair tools in compliance with the schedule
- You carry out repairs directly in the die casting machine
- You carry out professional fitting of spare parts for the tools
- You eliminate leaks on the mold side and hydraulic leaks
- You prepare production tools for the set-up process
- You maintain spare parts lists and ensure that parts are set up and in stock before production starts
- You identify and implement systems to achieve consistent casting quality improvement
- You will assist in the development of FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) for production tooling to identify risks and develop appropriate control plans
- You will work and support the set-up of die casting tools with a 100t crane
- You have completed vocational training as a tool mechanic (m/f/d), preferably in mold technology or have a comparable qualification
- You have several years of experience in the manufacture, maintenance, modification or repair of die casting tools or injection molds
- You have additional certificates such as a welding certificate
- You bring a hands-on mentality, as well as the willingness to work shifts in a 4-shift system
- You have a good command of common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- You are fluent in English or/and German
