Summary / Role Purpose  

This role will conduct extensive research and analyze customer activities and end-use information to help determine whether end-users may be engaged in high-risk activities.  

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Conduct thorough research concerning customer business activities and end-use information to identify potential red flags.  

  • Evaluate customer activities and relationships to determine potential risks associated with compliance with trade regulations.  

  • Compile and present detailed reports summarizing findings, including risk assessments and recommendations for further action.  

  • Gather and organize relevant data from various sources to support due diligence processes.  

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to share insights and enhance the overall trade compliance program.  

  • Identify opportunities to refine due diligence processes and methodologies for better efficiency and effectiveness.  

  • Stay informed on changes in trade compliance regulations.  

 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.  

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade compliance, due diligence, or a related area.  

  • Familiarity with trade compliance laws and regulations.  

  • Proven ability to conduct in-depth research and analyze complex information.  

  • Familiarity with research tools and databases used to perform due diligence.  

  • Detail oriented 

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. 

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global context. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
