About the Job:

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Electronic Trading team as our new Trader. The team acts as Saxo's execution hub, covering trading from Sunday evening till midnight Friday, following a 24/5½ operating model. Our headquarters in Hellerup cover both European and North American markets, while our offices in Singapore and India handle Asian trading hours. We offer a wide range of products across listed and non-listed instruments, including equities, fixed income instruments, listed derivatives, and our proprietary CFD and crypto offerings.

Responsibilities:
 

As a Trader within Electronic Trading, you will monitor, manage, and execute client order flow on listed- and non-listed products. Alongside you will have to expertly handle queries related to the platform, available products, DMA, and algoritm execution. Further;

• Provide clients and internal stakeholders with a professional and reliable execution experience.

• Drive the development of the trading platform and trading solutions.

• Actively liaise with top-tier brokers and technology providers.

• Participate in rotational shifts, meaning covering US trading hours every 4-5th week depending on demand.

Your Profile: 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a trading desk environment. You are well-versed in electronic execution and familiar with various aspects of trading and risk management. Additionally, you possess experience in financial markets, market structure, trading, market impact, and best execution. Further you;

• Have a deep understanding of futures and options (preferred).

• Be familiar with compliance obligations and market conduct rules.

• Understand corporate action events and their implications.

• Have previous exposure to electronic trading platforms and solutions, including an understanding of DMA and algorithmic trading.

• Possess a technical mind with a solid understanding of systems, order routing, and market data.

• Basic understanding of programming language like Python and SQL are advantageous.
